We have the illusion that when the market goes from, say, $1 to $100 then $50, those who bought at $1 do well. The average can be closer to 80. When a journalist claims that #BTC or something similar is “stabilizing near 35” you know one thing: it is not stabilizing “near 35”. Note: everyone is now repeating the volatility-is-not-good-for-a-currency-store-of-value argument.
